The Straight Bar features a unique polymer-ceramic composite coating that has become well-known in the gun industry for its durability in thin applications.
The Bar continues to represent the pinnacle of precision engineering. Its significant features are retained in the Cerakote Finish version, including a 190,000 PSI tensile strength shaft, dual knurl markings and premium composite bushings. Our barbell has always provided multi-purpose adaptability and consistent performance.
What Sets Our Bar Apart?
The sophisticated ceramic-based coating on this Bar was initially used in the gun industry for its fantastic durability in thin applications. This one-of-a-kind finish has 100 times standard black zinc's abrasion, wear, and corrosion resistance.
2. Stainless Steel
This steel is one of the best steels for a multi-purpose barbell.
Before machining, each barbell shaft is ground and polished, resulting in a highly smooth finish.
3. Manufacturing & Assembly
Each bar shaft is painstakingly manufactured with meticulous attention to detail. The knurling has also been fine-tuned over time for a secure but non-abrasive grip. We use a snap ring design and high-quality composite bushings to create the Bar, which acts as a bearing surface between the bar sleeve and bar shaft, creating normal "whip" during Olympic weightlifting yet enough rigidity to withstand heavy powerlifting.
While Cerakote offers high corrosion resistance, metal-to-metal contact, especially on the sleeves, can still cause wear over time. Some cleaning and maintenance may be required for the most acceptable long-term benefits.
